- AVULSED signs a deal with Metal Age Productions.
- As previously reported, after summer 2003 the band was
pretty dissapointed with AvantGarde's work and decided to
break their contractual obligations with them and started
to search for a new label. 4 options were seriously considered
(Crash, Blackend, Code666 & Metal Age) and after meticulously
thinking about it, AVULSED decided to sign a deal with slovakian
label Metal
Age Productions for the release of the band's 4th album.
This decision might surprise everybody, since this label
is the smallest one of the 4 ones considered, but at the
same time it's the most involved one in the onderground
and has a vast experience with over 50 titles released so
far and a growing and very promising future in front!!
 Actually,
the band feels stronger than ever and after the big success
of their latest work "Yearning
For The Grotesque", AVULSED is now working on 11
new songs to be recorded in July 2004 for an scheduled September
release through Metal
Age Productions. The new stuff is sure the most brutal,
fastest and intense material ever done by AVULSED!! Shorter
and more direct songs, but with the killer melodies that
always characterized the band's style.

- Como ya anunciamos con anterioridad, tras el verano del
2003 la banda quedó muy decepcionada con el trabajo
de AvantGarde y decidió romper sus obligaciones contractuales
con ellos con lo que comenzaron a buscar un nuevo sello.
Se consideraron seriamente 4 opciones (Crash, Blackend,
Code666 & Metal Age) y tras pensar meticulosamente sobre
ellas, AVULSED decidió formar un contrato con el
sello eslovaco Metal
Age Productions para la edición del cuarto álbum
de la banda. Esta decisión podría sorprender
a todos, ya que éste es el sello más pequeño
de los 4 considerados, pero al mismo tiempo es el sello
más involucrado en el underground y poseen una amplia
experiencia con más de 50 títulos editados
hasta el momento y con un creciente y prometedor futuro
por delante!!
 Actualmente
el grupo se siente más fuerte que nunca y tras el
gran éxito obtenido con su últiomo trabajo
"Yearning
For The Grotesque", AVULSED se encuentra ya preparando
11 nuevos temas que serán grabados en Julio del 2004
para una fecha de edición prevista para Septiembre
através del sello Metal
Age Productions. Los nuevos temas son sin duda lo más
brutal, rápido e intenso que jamás haya hecho
AVULSED!! Temas más cortos y directos, pero con las
buenas melodías que siempre han caracterizado el

- Furni (drums) leaves AVULSED.
- Our long-time drummer Furni has decided to leave the band.
After more than 10 years, personal reasons made him to take
the decision to quit although his departure is in good terms.
In fact, Furni will still play on the live shows that AVULSED
has already scheduled whilst a replacement is found.
 The
band is actually talking with a few candidates and a replacement
should be announced soon, so the plans of recording the
band's 4th full length album in July/ August won't be affected
at all. In fact, tha band has already decided the new album's
title: "Gorespattered Suicide". Depending on the
band's availability and studios schedules, the recordings
might take place either in Madrid at VBR Studios or again
at germany's Spacelab Studios. Nothing's decided yet about
this, but what's sure is that the mastering will be done
in Sweden at Soundlab Studios by Mieszko Talarczyk from
NASUM.
AVULSED has recently been confirmed for this years' edition
of one of the most famous extreme Metal festivals in Europe,
the OBSCENE EXTREME FESTIVAL which will take place in Trutnov
(Czech Republic) during 8, 9 & 10th of July. The band
has also been confirmed for the ALAHURIN ROCK FEST. to take
place in Alhaurín (Málaga) in July 24h together
with SARATOGA, EXHUMED DAY and other Metal bands. More info

- Nuestro ya legendario batería Furni ha decidido
abandonar la banda. Tras más de 10 años, algunos
motivos personales le han hecho abandonar el grupo aunque
su salida se ha producido en buenos términos. De
hecho, Furni aún tocará en los conciertos
que AVULSED ya tenía previstos hasta que se encuentre
un substituto.
La banda se encuentra actualmente en contacto con algunos
candidatos y pronto se anunciará quién ocupará
la vacante, así que los planes de grabación
para el 4º álbum de la banda en Julio/ Agosto
no se verán del todo afectados. Incluso ya se ha
decidido el título del nuevo álbum: "Gorespattered
Suicide". Dependiendo de la disponibilidad de la banda
y la programación de los estudios, la grabación
podría efectuarse bien en los VBR Studios de Madrid
o de nuevo en los Spacelab Studios de Alemania. Aún
no se ha decidido nada sobre ésto, pero lo que sí
es seguro es que la masterización se hará
en Suecia en los Soundlab Studios por Mieszko Talarczyk
de NASUM.
AVULSED han sido recientemente confirmados para la la edición
de éste año de uno de los más famosos
festivales europeos de Metal extremo, el OBSCENE EXTREME
FESTIVAL, que tendrá lugar en Trutnov (Rep. Checa)
durante los días 8, 9 y 10 de Julio. La banda también
ha sido confirmada para el ALHAURÍN ROCK FEST. que
se efectuará en Alhaurín (Málaga) el
24 de Julio junto a SARATOGA, EXHUMED DAY y otras bandas

- AVULSED found new drummer!!
- It was just a matter of days. Only one week after we announced
the departure of Furni, and after two testing sessions,
we can announce that AVULSED has a new drummer in the person
of Riky. A very young (20) talented guy (in short, this
fucker is really good!!) that is sure to give a new dimension
to the new (and old) AVULSED songs for the upcoming album
to be recorded in August.
Most probably Riky will play on the upcoming show for 22nd
of May. Although the priority for the band is to finish
the new songs, his ability to learns songs in short time,
will make it possible!!
- Sólo era cuestión de días. Tan sólo
una semana después de anunciar la marcha de Furni,
y tras dos sesiones de prueba, podemos anunciar que AVULSED
tiene un nuevo batería en la persona de Riky. Un
chaval muy joven (20) lleno de talento (vamos, que toca
de la ostia el muy cabrón!!) que sin duda va a dar
otra dimensión a los nuevos (y los viejos) temas
para el inminente álbum que se grabará en
Agosto.
Lo más probable es que Riky toque ya en el próximo
concierto del 22 de Mayo. Si bien la prioridad de la banda
es acabar los nuevos temas, su facilidad para aprenderse
los temas en poco tiempo, lo hará posible!!

- AVULSED enters the studio!!
- Today, 30th of July, AVULSED is entering the VRS Studios
in Madrid were bands like HUMAN MINCER & WORMED previously
recorded their works to start the recordings of what will
be the band's 4th full length album (8th CD on their career)
under the title of "Gorespattered
Suicide". The recording sessions will take like
10 days after which the mix and mastering will take care
of Erik Rutan (HATE ETERNAL/ ex-MORBID ANGEL) at his own
Mana Recording Studios in Florida during the first week
of September.
"Gorespattered Suicide"
will inlcude 11 own songs plus a cover of the song "Ace
Of Spades" by MOTÖRHEAD. The song titles will
be the following: "Burnt But Not Carbonized",
"Gorespattered Suicide", "Eat Foetal Mush",
"4 N Sick", "Filth Injected", "Protervia",
"Let Me Taste Your Flesh", "Harvesting The
Blood", "Infernal Haemorrhoids", "Divine
Wine" and a still untitled instrumental song.
In the meantime, the cover artwork and complete CD design
will be done by Sven de Caluwé from Dirged Design
(www.dirged.be)
better known for being ABORTED's vocalist. Such work will
be, without any doubt, the most brutal, extreme and sick
one ever used by the band, showing again their position
of refusal to be submitted on the stablished censorship
by certain distributors and CD manufacturers in Europe.
Also, Metal Age Productions, the current label of the band,
has acquired the rights of the album "Yearning For
The Grotesque" which will be reíssued by the
end of the year. Also around the same dates, it's scheduled
that the same label reíssue on a double CD the works
"Seven Years Of Decay" (demos and rarities) together
with "Bloodcovered" (cover songs) that will include
some bonus tracks as well.
 AVULSED
will be playing spare shows through Spain, France &
Portugal until the end of the year, but it won't be until
December or January when they start the show to present
their new album (scheduled for October/ November) through
the whole spanish territory. There's also some negotiations
with some promoters in Australia & Japan for a possible
tour in both countries around April 2005, although this
is on very early stages...
- Hoy 30 de July, AVULSED entra en los VRS Studios de Madrid
donde previamente han grabado bandas como HUMAN MINCER,
WORMED, etc. para grabar lo que será su 4º álbum

Las sesiones de grabación se extenderán por
unos 10 días tras lo cual la mezcla y masterización

Dicho trabajo será, sin duda, el más brutal,
extremo y enfermizo jamás usado por la banda, volviendo
a demostrar su posisión de rechazo e insumisión
a la censura establecida por ciertos distribuidores y fábricas
de CD's Europeos.
Así mismo, Metal Age Productions, el actual sello
de la banda, ha adquirido los derechos del álbum
"Yearning For The Grotesque" el cual será
re-editado a finales de año. También sobre
las mismas fechas está previsto que el mismo sello
re-edite en un CD doble los trabajos "Seven Years Of
Decay" (demos y rarezas) junto al "Bloodcovered"
(versiones) que incluirá temas extra.
AVULSED estará tocando conciertos sueltos por España,
Francia y Portugal hasta finales de año, pero no
será hasta Diciembre o Enero cuando comienzen los
conciertos de presentación para su nuevo trabajo
(previsto para Octubre/ Noviembre) por todo el territorio
Español. También se está en negociaciones
con promotores en Australia y Japón para una posible
gira en ambos países alrededor de Abril del 2005,
aunque ésto aún está en una fase bastante
inicial...

- Two hurricanes in Florida delays the mixing of the new
album!!
- As it was planned, the recordings ot AVULSED's new album
took place during the first 12 days of August at VRS Studios
in Madrid, after of which, the masters were sent to Erik
Rutan for the mixings who would take place at his own Mana
Recording studios in September 7th. Unfortunately, the two
hurricanes that have been hitting Florida during the last
week, have caused lots of trouble and the mixing had to
be delayed until all this shit passes out.
This is what Erik told us on his two last e-mails:
"Sorry, I have not emailed you with info. We had a
hurricane hit here this weekend and all power is out for
the last few days and at my studio power will be out till
friday 9th, so I won't be able to start till then."
 "We
have another hurricane this weekend so might lose power
for a few fucking days, I apologize about the delay but,
what can I do? I have to have your mix done by the 25th
so I'll keep you updated, OK?"
In the meantime, the design process for the new album has
suffered some changes. Due to the unability of Sven to work
in time, the band decided to change of artist and it's now
Phlegeton (vocalist in WORMED and drummer in GODÜS)
who's taking care of it. We can say the change was to better,
because the result is now much, much more brutal!!
We'll keep you updated about the development of both mixing
and artwork of the new album!! In the meantime you can listen

- Tal y como estaba previsto, la grabación del nuevo
álbum de AVULSED tuvo lugar durante los 12 primeros
días de Agosto en los VRS Studios de Madrid, tras
lo cual, los masters fueron enviados a Erik Rutan para las
mezclas que tendrían lugar en sus propios Mana Recording
Studios el 7 de Septiembre. Desgraciadamente, los dos huracanes
que han estado azotando Florida durante la última
semana, han causado muchos problemas y las mezclas han tenido
que ser retrasadas hasta que todo ésto pase.
Aquí tenéis lo que nos dijo Erik en sus dos
últimos e-mails:
"Lo siento, no pude escribirte ningún e-mail
con información. Tuvimos un huracán el pasado
fin de semana y hemos estado sin energía durante
los últimos días y mi estudio no tendrá
luz hasta el viernes 9, así que no podré comenzar
hasta entonces."
"Tenemos otro huracán previsto para éste
fin de semana así que seguramente perdamos la luz
durante otros jodidos días, lo siento por el retraso,
pero qué puedo hacer? Tengo que terminar vuestra
mezcla para el 25 de Septiembre, así que os mantendré
informado, OK?"
Mientras tanto, el proceso de diseño del nuevo álbum
ha sufrido algunos cambios. Debido a la imposibilidad de
Sven para tener el trabajo a tiempo, la banda ha decidido
cambiar de artista y ahora es Phlegeton (vocalista en WORMED
y batería en GODÜS) quien se está haciendo
cargo de ello. Podemos decir que el cambio ha sido a mejor,
ya que el resultado es ahora, mucho, pero que mucho más
brutal!!
Os mantendremos informados sobre el desarrollo tento de
la mezcla como del arte del nuevo album!! Mientras tanto,
podéis escuchar una versión bastante mierdosa
sin mezclar y muy cutre de uno de los temas pinchando

- AVULSED in Germany again!! Headlining the Depth of Winter
Festival.
- After more than 7 years... AVULSED is finally back to
Germany to headline the 2004 edition of DEPTH
OF WINTER FESTIVAL (www.depth-of-winter.de.vu)
on the 6th of November.
The Festival will include the following acts:

DIABOLICAL (swe)
DINSINFECT (ger)
UNDERCROFT (chile)
FORNICATION (bra)
URKRAFT (den)
GRIND INC. (ger)
COCKROACH (ger)
GRIN (ger)

AVULSED has also confirmed their participation in another
festival that will take place in Woippy in the east of France
(near Luxembourg) with DIMMU BORGIR as headliner on the
15th of January 2005. Also another fest has been confirmed
for the 20th of November, this time in Spain (St. Climent
de Llobraget/ Barcelona) on the 2nd CANYA A SANT CLIMENT
FEST.
Regarding the announced possibility of conquering the fast
east & oceania, things are taking shape little by little!!
The tour will start with two shows in Tokyo (Japan) on 3nd
& 4rd of April 2005 followed by one (or two) shows in
New Zealand and three (or four) in Australia the week after.
We'll keep you informed about any development on this matter
as we have more news.
In other news, Erik Rutan has already started the mixings
of our new album "Gorespattered Suicide" and we
have already heard one of the songs... fuck, this is going
to sound fucking huge!!

- The master & artwork of "Gorespattered Suicide"
are 100% finished!!
- It took way longer than expected for the mixing process
of "Gorespattered Suicide"
album, but it's finally done!! Initially it was supposed
to be done during the 2nd week of September, but no less
than 5 hurricanes passed through Florida where Erik Rutan
was mixing and mastering the album at his own studios. After
this, he was ill for some days... but it was well worth
the wait!! The master is in our hands and we must say it
sounds great!! We're really satisfied of the mixing and
we can state that this might be our best album to date!!
"Gorespattered Suicide"
has all the usual ingredients in AVULSED's style, but it's
by far the most brutal, aggressive and intense effort, to
which our new drummer Riky has contributed enormously!!

- El proceso de mezcla de "Gorespattered Suicide"
necesitó más tiempo del esperado, pero ya
está finalizado!! Inicialmente se suponía
que tenía que haberse hecho durante la 2ª semana
de Septiembre, pero ni más ni menos que 5 huracanes
pasaron por Florida donde Erik Rutan estuvo mexclando y
masterizando el álbum en sus propios estudios. Tras
ésto, estuvo enfermo durante algunos días...
pero mereció la pena esperar!! El master ya está
en nuestras manos y tenemos que decir que suena increíble!!
Estamos realmente satisfechos con la mezcla y podemos afirmar
que seguramente éste sea nuestro mejor álbum
hasta la fecha!!
"Gorespattered Suicide"
tiene todos los ingredientes habituales en el estilo de
AVULSED, pero es con diferencia nuestro material más
brutal, agresivo e intenso, a lo cual nuestro nuevo batería
Riky ha contribuido enormemente!! Puedes bajarte un nuevo

En cuanto al diseño del nuevo álbum, está
acabado y también podemos decir que es el arte más
